ICYMI: Governor Abbott Discusses Ending Sanctuary Cities On The Blaze
Governor Greg Abbott today appeared on Dana, hosted by TheBlaze TV’s Dana Loesch, to discuss his call to enforce federal immigration laws and eliminate sanctuary cities. On Monday, Governor Abbott issued a letter urging Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez to comply with federal guidelines on detaining criminal immigrants.
“I'm saying 'no more.' We are not going to have sanctuary cities in the State of Texas,” said Governor Abbott in the interview. “We are going to ensure that Texas is a Rule of Law state.”
