Community Organization Conference

Each October, Crime Stoppers volunteers and law enforcement coordinators from across the state gather for the annual Texas Crime Stoppers conference. The event provides attendees with a well-rounded experience and offers basic crime stoppers training, information on regulations and policies regarding Crime Stoppers Organizations in Texas, classroom sessions that cover a variety of criminal justice "hot topics", our annual Texas Best awards banquet, and of course, loads of fun!

Sixteen hours of continuing certification and TCOLE credit are available upon successful completion of all conference requirements, attendance at all sessions, and submission of all completed training documents. Attendance at the Texas Crime Stoppers Conference will satisfy training requirements for continued certification for all certified Crime Stoppers Organizations.

Campus Crime Stoppers Conference

Our Campus conference puts a strong focus on our youth volunteers who work diligently on their middle school and high school campuses to keep their peers and communities safe. Each February, Texas Crime Stoppers student volunteers, administrators, program sponsors and School Resource Officers (SRO) gather from near and far for the annual Texas Campus Crime Stoppers conference. The event provide attendees a great learning experience with a focus on current trends and issues seen on campuses, including; cyber bullying, drugs, theft, interactive self-defense classes, demo forensic labs, police station tours, operational guidelines for running an effective crime stoppers program on campus, state related regulations and requirements of Crime Stoppers Organizations in Texas, relevant criminal justice hot topics, our annual Texas Best awards and banquet, and lots of fun for everyone!

Annual Texas Crime Stoppers Conference

October 9-11, 2019
Brownsville, Texas

You're invted to attend the 31st Annual Texas Crime Stoppers Conference in Brownsville, Texas. Our host, Cameron County Crime Stoppers, has a dynamic, educational, and fun-filled conference planned for us this year!

The Texas Crime Stoppers conferences are a 3-day training opportunity offered to Peace Officers, Crime Stoppers Board Members and Volunteers to learn more about the impact of Crime Stoppers across the state, nonprofit guidelines and best practices, as well as an opportunity to strengthen, collaborate and celebrate our community and network among the 140 Crime Stoppers Organizations in Texas. (This training will count towards 16 hours of continuing certification requirements and TCOLE credit.)
