Campus Crime Stoppers Conference
Our Campus conference puts a strong focus on our youth volunteers who work diligently on their middle school and high school campuses to keep their peers and communities safe. Each February, Texas Crime Stoppers student volunteers, administrators, program sponsors and School Resource Officers (SRO) gather from near and far for the annual Texas Campus Crime Stoppers conference. The event provide attendees a great learning experience with a focus on current trends and issues seen on campuses, including; cyber bullying, drugs, theft, interactive self-defense classes, demo forensic labs, police station tours, operational guidelines for running an effective crime stoppers program on campus, state related regulations and requirements of Crime Stoppers Organizations in Texas, relevant criminal justice hot topics, our annual Texas Best awards and banquet, and lots of fun for everyone!
Sixteen hours of continuing certification and TCOLE credit are available upon successful completion of all conference requirements, attendance at all sessions, and submission of all completed training documents. Attendance at the Texas Crime Stoppers Conference will satisfy training requirements for continued certification for all certified Crime Stoppers Organizations.
