Governor Abbott Appoints Three To Texas State Board Of Examiners Of Psychologists

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed John Bielamowicz, Susan Fletcher, Ph.D. and Ronald Palomares, Ph.D. to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists for terms set to expire on October 31, 2021.

John Bielamowicz of Waxahachie is president of Biel Partners, LLC. He is a member and PAC member of The Real Estate Council – Dallas and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and Real Estate Professionals. Additionally, he is a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight South Central and a former board member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation North Texas. Bielamowicz received a Bachelor of Business Administration in real estate from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Susan Fletcher, Ph.D. of Plano is the owner of Fletcher & Associates Psychological Services. She is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, American Association of Suicidology, American Bar Association, American Psychological Association, Collin County Psychological Association and Texas Psychological Association. She is a former member of Leadership Plano and the Dallas Junior Forum, former board member of The Galaxy Center and former board president of Plano Youth Leadership. Fletcher received a Bachelor of Arts in health education from the University of Florida and a Master of Arts in counseling psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy in school psychology from Texas Woman’s University.

Ronald Palomares, Ph.D. of Dallas is an assistant professor and director of the doctoral school psychology program at Texas Woman’s University, a senior associate at Elisabeth Scheffer & Associates and a Military Family Life Consultant. He is a former member of the Texas Army National Guard and the United States Air Force. He is a member of the Dallas Psychological Association, Texas Psychological Association, American Psychological Association, American Psychological Practice Organization, National Association of School Psychologists and Trainers of School Psychologists. Palomares received a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Texas A&M University, a Master of Arts in counseling psychology from Lesley College and a Doctor of Philosophy in school psychology from Texas A&M University.
