ICYMI: Governor Abbott Discusses Plan To End Sanctuary Cities In Texas On The Kelly File
Governor Greg Abbott appeared on FOX News' The Kelly File on Wednesday to discuss his plan to end sanctuary city policies in Texas. Governor Abbott made clear his intention to promote legislation that will penalize local agencies who refuse to enforce federal immigration laws.
“We are tired of these sanctuary city policies and they will not be tolerated in Texas,” said Governor Abbott in the interview. “So as Governor I sent a letter to the Dallas County Sheriff making clear what Texas is going to do. Texas is going to pass a law that outlaws sanctuary cities.”
