Governor Abbott Issues Statement On Death Of DPS Officer In Mills County
Governor Greg Abbott today issued the following statement on the death of Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant William "Karl" Keesee in Mills County on Thursday night:
"Cecilia and I extend our deepest condolences to Sergeant Keesee's family during this difficult time. It is important to remember that DPS officers put their lives on the line every day to protect Texas communities and we can never thank them enough for their service. Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with his family and the DPS community as they heal from this tragedy.”
