AUSTIN - Governor Greg Abbott today appeared on Fox News' America's Newsroom to discuss the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals' decision to halt President Obama's executive amnesty program. Governor Abbott also emphasized that the American people will no longer tolerate public officials who violate and refuse to enforce immigration law.
“The President does not have the unilateral authority to grant amnesty to millions of people,” said Governor Abbott in the interview. “That's the big issue here. Do we have the Rule of Law in the United States or do we not? What this federal court of appeals said is the Rule of Law applies even to the President of the United States of America.”
