Governor Abbott Appoints Parkhurst To The 260th Judicial District Court
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Steve Parkhurst as Judge of the 260th Judicial District Court in Orange County for a term set to expire December 31, 2018.
Steve Parkhurst of Orange is a partner at Dies & Parkhurst, L.L.P. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Orange County Bar Association, and the Jefferson County Bar Association. Additionally, he is a former panel member of the State Bar of Texas District 3 Grievance Committee and a former member of the Jefferson County Bar Association Pro Bono Steering Committee. Parkhurst received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Sam Houston State University and a Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law.
