Governor Abbott Appoints Dixon Navarro County Criminal District Attorney
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Will Dixon as the Navarro County Criminal District Attorney for a term set to expire December 31, 2020, or until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified.
Will Dixon of Corsicana is an assistant district attorney for the Navarro County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, where he is a felony prosecutor and misdemeanor chief. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Texas County & District Attorneys Association and a former member of the American Inns of Court. Additionally, he is a member of the Habitat for Humanity of Corsicana Board of Directors and the Domestic Violence Task Force of Navarro County. Dixon received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctor degree from Baylor University School of Law.
This appointment is subject to Senate confirmation.
