Governor Abbott Releases 2014 Tax Return
Texas Governor Greg Abbott today released his tax return for 2014, in keeping with his pledge to release tax returns each year he serves as governor. Governor Abbott previously released his 2011-2013 tax returns during his campaign for governor.
Governor Abbott’s 2014 tax return reflects:
- $134,118 in total wages earned
- $51,778 paid in property taxes
- 39.96% combined local, state and federal tax burden
- $4,495 in charitable contributions
