Governor Abbott Appoints Wiseman To Texas State Board Of Acupuncture Examiners

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Jeremy Wiseman, M.D. to the Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners for a term set to expire on January 31, 2021. The board is responsible for regulating the practice of acupuncture in Texas.

Jeremy Wiseman, M.D. of Austin is a physician and owner of Wiseman Family Practice, an integrative family medicine clinic. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Wiseman received a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Southwestern University and a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
