Governor Abbott Appoints Perwin Judge Of 505th Judicial District Court
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed David Perwin of Richmond as judge of the 505th Judicial District Court in Fort Bend County for a term set to expire at the next general election in November 2016. This appointment will be effective Sept. 1, 2015.
David Perwin serves as associate judge in the 387th Judicial District Court in Fort Bend County. He was previously a sole practitioner at Perwin Law Firm, PLLC and a managing attorney at Becerra, Colgin & Perwin, PLLC. He is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, and he volunteers for Lamar Little League. Judge Perwin received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston and a Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
