Governor Abbott Appoints Martin To Real Estate Research Advisory Committee

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Elizabeth “Besa” Robison Martin to the Real Estate Research Advisory Committee for a term set to expire January 31, 2021. The advisory committee reviews and approves proposals submitted to the board of directors of the Texas A&M University System relating to staffing and general policies of the Real Estate Center. The committee decides the priority ranking of research studies the center conducts.

Elizabeth “Besa” Robison Martin of Boerne is the owner of ER Martin LLC, partner in her family ranch and a director of First National Bank of Sonora. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and San Antonio Bar Association and former director of the Kendall County Bar Association. She has served as director of the San Antonio Bar Foundation, as well as a Sunday school and confirmation teacher at First Methodist Church of Boerne. Martin received a Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics and a Master's degree in land economics and real estate from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law.
