Governor Abbott Appoints Kinney To Judicial Compensation Commission
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Linda Kinney to the Judicial Compensation Commission for a term set to expire on February 1, 2023. The commission recommends the proper salaries to be paid by the state for all justices and judges of the Supreme Court, Court of Criminal Appeals, Courts of Appeals, and state district courts
Linda Kinney of Comfort retired after working over 30 years in public service. She was appointed by Governor Perry to the Automobile Burglary and Theft Prevention Authority, where she served two terms. Kinney graduated from St. Mary’s in Fredericksburg, Texas.
