Governor Abbott Appoints Junkin To The 453rd Judicial District Court
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed David Junkin as Judge of the 453rd Judicial District Court in Hays County for a term set to expire on December 31, 2020, or until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified.
David Junkin of Wimberley is an attorney in private practice. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Hays County Bar Association, and the Wimberley Business & Professional Association. He is a member of the Wimberley Lions Club and a director and parliamentarian for CASA of Central Texas. Additionally, he is a former director of Wimberley Senior Citizens Activity, Inc., Habitat for Humanity, and the Wimberley Education Foundation. Junkin received a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
