Governor Abbott Appoints Gooden Judge Of The 280th Judicial District Court

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Angelina D.A. Gooden as judge of the 280th Judicial District Court in Harris County for a term set to expire December 31, 2018, or until her successor shall be duly elected and qualified.
 
Angelina D.A. Gooden of Pearland, Harris County, is a partner at Gooden & Gooden Attorneys at Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Council on Family Violence and a former member of the Houston Bar Association. Additionally, she is a board member for the Bridge Over Troubled Water Shelter. Gooden received a Bachelor of Arts from Hampton University, Master of Arts from Norfolk State University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
