Independence Day
Today, across the United States, we celebrate the birth of our nation. July 4th marks not only America’s victory of independence, but the beginning of a legacy of freedom that was hard won and has been fearlessly defended for 240 years. The 4th of July is a day to remember the sacrifices made for freedom and to be thankful for the liberty we enjoy every day as Americans as we celebrate with the ones we love. I encourage everyone to have a fun 4th of July and to keep safety in mind during this exciting holiday. God bless Texas and the United States of America.
