Texas Ranked Top State For Business Climate By Business Facilities Magazine
Business Facilities Magazine today ranked Texas as the top state in the nation for the Best Business Climate in the magazine's 13th Annual Rankings Report. Out of all 50 states, Texas achieved the best overall performance in the 2017 State Rankings Report.
"Economic liberty is why Texas leads in job creation and in corporate expansion and relocations," said Governor Abbott. "Restrained government, lower taxes, smarter regulations, right-to-work laws and litigation reform—these are the pro-growth economic policies that help free enterprise flourish and that attract business to Texas from states that overtax and overregulate."
"Texas aggressively is expanding the frontier of its economic development hegemony, whether it's from pulling new revenue out of ancient oil deposits far underground or expanding the nation's most-advanced semiconductor fabrication hub, to preparing to seize a leadership position in the emerging commercial space-launch sector," said Business Facilities’ Editor in Chief Jack Rogers."The sky's the limit in the Lone Star State."
