ICYMI: Governor Abbott Discusses Executive Amnesty Lawsuit On TheBlaze
AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott on Monday appeared on Dana, hosted by TheBlaze TV’s Dana Loesch, to discuss the Texas-led lawsuit against the Obama Administration’s executive amnesty now before the Supreme Court. Following Monday’s oral arguments, Governor Abbott reiterated his opposition to the president’s unconstitutional executive actions and his call for an Article V Convention of States to restore the Rule of Law.
“This is an abuse of presidential authority, this tramples on the United States Constitution and if this is allowed, the United States Constitution has been completely rewritten,” said Governor Abbott in the interview. “The United States Supreme Court is a co-conspirator in tearing down our Constitution, which is exactly why I am calling for a Convention of States so we can restore the Constitution to its original principles.”
