H-E-B Primo Picks Quest for Texas Best
Like all Texans, I love the H-E-B TV commercials that feature Texas small businesses – whether it’s about a farmer or rancher, a secret family recipe for BBQ sauce, or tamales during the holidays. Another way that H-E-B celebrates Texas-grown, locally-made products is with their annual H‑E‑B Primo Picks Quest for Texas Best contest. Last week I had the privilege of joining in on this year’s Quest for Texas Best festivities, where I helped honor the twenty-five 2017 finalists by presenting them with certificates from the Governor’s Office. I also got to sample many of the previous years’ winners…I don’t envy the tough job the judges have! I am so proud of the twenty-five finalists and I am so pleased that I got the chance to help celebrate them and their exceptional products.
