CAPPS Financials Analyst – Austin, Texas
The Office of the Governor is looking for an experienced CAPPS Financials Analyst (Systems Analyst V) to work in the Financial Services Division.

What You’ll Do
This is a job that performs computer systems analysis work related to Centralized Accounting Payroll/Personnel system (CAPPS) Financials. You will be called on to coordinate the planning and analysis of complex financial and administrative data, cross-agency business processes, and functional requirements for the division.
What You’ll Earn
The salary is $6,666.67 - $7,500.00 a month ($80,000.04 - $90,000.00 a year).

What You Need to Get Hired
- Four (4) years of professional experience in process or systems analysis work in any one or combination of the following: general ledger/commitment control, purchasing/e-procurement, accounts payable, billing/accounts receivable, inventory, asset management, project costing, customer contracts, grant accounting, or planning and budgeting (experience and education may be substituted for one another on a year-for-year basis).
- Experience working with State of Texas Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS) and Centralized Accounting Payroll/Personnel system (CAPPS) Financials.
- Experience in developing and troubleshooting technical reporting solutions for the CAPPS Financials application.
- Proven ability to analyze system requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems.
- Proven ability to develop and perform queries and data analysis based on customer requests and needs in CAPPS Financials application.
Other Things We’ll be Looking For
- Experience in developing comprehensive technical documentation, including documentation for reporting solutions.
- Experience working with Texas state government processes, policies, and procedures.
