Governor Abbott Reappoints Hodges To State Cemetery Committee
Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Carolyn Hodges to the State Cemetery Committee for a term set to expire on February 1, 2025. The committee works with the State Preservation Board to adopt rules to manage oversight of the Texas State Cemetery.
Carolyn Hodges of Houston is co-owner of PlansPerfect LLC. She is on the executive committee and board of directors member of the Archer Center at The University of Texas. She is a former educator and has volunteered with the March of Dimes and the local Houston PBS station. Hodges received a Bachelor of Science in education from The University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Education from the University of Houston.
This appointment is subject to Senate confirmation.
