Texas Crime Stoppers offers a series of two day courses for board members, sponsors, administrators, and coordinators of Texas Crime Stoppers organizations. These courses include the following topics: operational guidelines, board responsibilities, legal items, record keeping, campus crime stoppers, tip taking best practices, annual reporting, certification requirements, fundraising and marketing, volunteer management.

To receive full credit from the Office of the Governor: The Texas Crime Stoppers at Office of the Governor will offer continuing certification credit. Attendees will need to attend all ten (10) virtual presentations to receive credit for two days.

Texas Crime Stoppers Basic Course Trainings
In-Person Training on August 16-17, 2021
Texas Crime Stoppers will hold a training with ten sessions totalling sixteen (16) hours of TCOLE Credit for a Basic Crime Stoppers Course. Attendees must attend all sessions to receive TCOLE credit.
