Texas is home to 3 million business with 99.8% of those being small businesses, and 1.25 million are women owned!
The Governor’s Commission for Women is dedicated to making Texas the No. 1 state for women-owned businesses and to continue making Texas a place for women entrepreneurs to thrive and inspire others.
The Governor’s Commission for Women in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and Tourism will host two live, in-person events to connect women-owned businesses with the resources and networking opportunities to succeed.
Each event will take a deeper dive into important topics and available resources for women-owned small businesses and women entrepreneurs. The events are an opportunity to listen and learn and to connect with subject-matter experts and support systems.

Register today for the Governor’s Small Business Series – Honoring Women-Owned Businesses hosted by the Governor’s Commission for Women and the Governor’s Office of Economic Development & Tourism. The in-person event aims to connect small business owners and entrepreneurs with the resources and information needed to start, strengthen, or grow a business. This is a great opportunity to network with other business owners and meet experts who can share timely, relevant, and actionable advice on a variety of small business topics.
