Governor Abbott Reappoints Davidson To The State Employee Charitable Campaign Policy Committee

Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Greg Davidson to the State Employee Charitable Campaign Policy Committee for a term set to expire on September 1, 2019. The committee helps develop rules and procedures for the State Employee Charitable Campaign, and reviews the recommended campaign plan.

Greg Davidson of Austin is the Executive Clerk to the Governor and director of the Constituent Communication Division for the Office of the Governor. He is a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America, and currently serves as the stated clerk for the South Texas Presbytery. He is a former assistant pastor at CrossPointe Church, past member of the National Association of Parliamentarians, and a former board member of the National Day of Prayer Organization and Prison Fellowship Ministries. He is also a past volunteer with Austin Junior Achievement and CASA of Austin. Davidson received a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and a Master of Arts in government from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Divinity from the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
