Governor Abbott Names Leyendecker Chair Of Nueces River Authority Board Of Directors
Governor Abbott has named Dan S. Leyendecker as chair of the Nueces River Authority Board of Directors. The authority shall administer the control, employment, and conservation of the waters of the Nueces River Basin, forestation and reforestation, groundwater, storm water floodwater, water quality control, solid waste, and parks and recreational facilities.
Dan S. Leyendecker of Corpus Christi is a civil engineer and president of LNV, Inc. He is a member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, American Water Works Association, and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is the secretary of the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority Board of Directors and a trustee of the American Council of Engineering Companies Retirement Trust. In addition, he is a volunteer with the Corpus Christi Mustangs. Leyendecker received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Texas A&M University.
