Governor Abbott Signs State Budget Into Law
Governor Greg Abbott today signed HB 1, the General Appropriations Act, into law. Upon signing the 2016-2017 budget, Governor Abbott released the following statement:
Governor Abbott Vetoes House Bill 3736 (84R)
Pursuant to Article IV, Section 14, of the Texas Constitution, I, Greg Abbott, Governor of Texas, do hereby disapprove of and veto House BillNo. 3736 as passed by the Eighty-Fourth Texas Legislature, Regular Session, because of the following objections:
Governor Abbott Vetoes House Bill 4025 (84R)
Pursuant to Article IV, Section 14, of the Texas Constitution, I, Greg Abbott, Governor of Texas, do hereby disapprove of and veto House Bill No. 4025 as passed by the Eighty-Fourth Texas Legislature, Regular Session, because of the following objections:
