Texas Signs Memorandum Of Understanding With Aichi Prefectural Government Of Japan
Governor Greg Abbott today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Governor Hideaki Ohmura expressing their shared desire to establish a relationship between the State of Texas and the Aichi Prefecture of Japan. Governor Abbott and Governor Ohmura agreed to cooperate in mutually beneficial areas including economic exchange, culture and human resource development.
“I am deeply honored to meet with Governor Ohmura and begin a strong and fruitful relationship between Texas and Aichi,” said Governor Abbott. “Texas’ culture of innovation and world-class business climate have already encouraged a number of Aichi companies to invest in the Lone Star State, and I am confident today’s agreement will create new opportunities for economic exchange. I look forward to working with Governor Ohmura and Aichi to bring prosperity to both states as we build a long-lasting partnership.”
