Governor Abbott Reappoints Three To Texas Board Of Medical Radiologic Technology
Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Faraz Khan, M.D., Regan Landreth, and Carol Waddell to the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology for terms to expire on February 1, 2025. The board is responsible for regulating the practice of radiologic technology.
Faraz Khan, M.D. of Houston is a staff and interventional radiologist at Synergy Radiology Associates. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society, Radiology Society of North America, American College of Radiology, Texas Radiologic Society, and Memorial Hermann Physician Network. He also volunteers with the Houston Food Bank. Khan received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He completed his radiology training at Washington University in St. Louis.
Regan Landreth of Georgetown is the owner of Landreth Construction. Prior to serving on the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology, she served on the Dental Hygiene Advisory Committee. She is a member of and a volunteer for the First United Methodist Church of Georgetown. Landreth received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
Carol Waddell of West is a regional manager of nuclear medicine, PET/CT, and MRI at Numed, Inc. She is a member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging and AHRA: Association for Medical Imaging Management. She is also chair of Methodist Women on a Mission. Waddell received an Associate of Applied Science in nuclear medicine from McLennan Community College.
