Governor Abbott Appoints Wallace Judge Of The 378th Judicial District Court

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Doug Wallace as judge of the 378th Judicial District Court in Ellis County for a term set to expire December 31, 2018, or until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified.

Doug Wallace of Waxahachie is a fraud prosecutor for the Texas Department of Insurance. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association, Ellis County Bar Association, and the Rotary Club of Waxahachie. Additionally, he serves as a volunteer legal officer for Texas Wing Civil Air Patrol. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and the Texas Army National Guard. Wallace received a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Houston and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
