Governor Abbott Appoints Three To Texas Real Estate Commission

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Jan Fite Miller, DeLora Wilkinson, and Micheal Williams to the Texas Real Estate Commission for terms set to expire on January 31, 2023. The commission's primary purpose is to protect the public in its dealings with real estate brokers and salespersons.

Jan Fite Miller of Kemp is the executive vice president of Century 21 Judge Fite Company, and has worked in the Dallas/Fort Worth area her entire career. She is a member of the MetroTex Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Miller received a Bachelor of Arts in French, English and education from The University of Texas at Austin.

DeLora Wilkinson of Cypress is a licensed Realtor and broker. She is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She will serve on the 2018 Houston Association of Realtors Board of Directors. Additionally, she is a member and former chair of the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce.

Micheal Williams of Colleyville is the president of 3i Contracting LLC. He is a member of the Association of General Contractors, Dallas Minority Supplier Development Council and the Regional Black Contractor Association. Additionally, he is the treasurer of the Regional Black Contractors Board and a member and former chairman of the NBA Retired Players Association of Dallas. Williams received a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and finance from Baylor University.
