Governor Abbott Appoints McCoy To Texas Juvenile Justice Advisory Board

AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Tim McCoy to the Texas Juvenile Justice Advisory Board for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. The board advises the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division on programs and preventative solutions and submits recommendations regarding federal compliance issues and federal grant disbursements.

Tim McCoy of Corpus Christi is Judge of Nueces County Court Law No 5. He is a member of the Texas Bar Foundation and Corpus Christi Bar Association. McCoy received a Bachelor of Arts in government from The University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law.
