Governor Abbott Appoints Dush To State Pension Review Board
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Marcia Dush to the State Pension Review Board for a term set to expire on January 31, 2019. The board reviews all Texas public retirement systems, both state and local, for actuarial soundness and compliance with state law.
Marcia Dush of Austin is a member of the Board of Actuaries for the Military Retirement System and Education Benefits Fund for the U.S. Department of Defense. She is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. Additionally, she is an Enrolled Actuary with the U.S. Department of the Treasury and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Dush received a Bachelor of Science in business administration and actuarial science from Drake University.
