Governor Abbott Appoints Bulanek To 461st Judicial District Court

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Patrick Bulanek Judge of the 461st Judicial District Court in Brazoria County, effective September 1, 2019, for a term set to expire on December 31, 2020, or until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified.

Patrick Bulanek of Danbury is an attorney in private practice. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, The Federalist Society, and the Brazoria County Bar Association and a former member of the District 5-3 Grievance Committee for the State Bar of Texas. He is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Danbury, board member and treasurer of the Women’s Center of Brazoria County, board member of the Cradle of Texas Emmaus Community, and a former board member of the Alvin Community College Foundation. Bulanek received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and a Juris Doctor degree from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
