Like all Texans, I love the H-E-B TV commercials that feature Texas small businesses – whether it’s about a farmer or rancher, a secret family recipe for BBQ sauce, or tamales during the holidays. Another way that H-E-B celebrates Texas-grown, locally-made products is with their annual H‑E‑B Primo Picks Quest for Texas Best contest.

While preparing for a new school year is an exciting time, it can also be a financial burden for many. Luckily, there are organizations across Texas that step in to make sure that Texas families don’t have to worry about whether or not their children will have the necessary school supplies.
