Governor Greg Abbott Sets Special Election For HD-62
Governor Greg Abbott has issued a proclamation announcing November 6, 2018 as the special election date to fill the Texas House of Representatives District 62 seat recently vacated by Representative Larry Phillips.
Candidates who wish to have their names placed on the special election ballot must file their applications with the secretary of state no later than 6:00 p.m. on August 23, 2018.
Early voting by personal appearance shall begin on Monday, October 22, 2018.
