Business & Community Emergency Preparation & Recovery

Businesses and communities must be prepared for any natural disaster or emergency and be aware of the latest resources available to help once disaster strikes. This site offers a comprehensive listing of disaster preparation and recovery resources for small businesses, local governments and economic development organizations in Texas.

We also recommend checking the Governor’s Executive Orders to find updates on disaster situations and any temporary waivers, suspensions and changes to state laws, regulations, licenses, certifications, etc. Businesses should also check with their insurance policy providers to review and confirm coverage and connect with their local government entity to explore additional local resources.
