About the Event:
The Governor's Office of Small Business Assistance is partnering with the Texas Music Office to connect Texas small businesses in the music industry with vital recovery resources. Attendees will learn about new programs that can help their business, such as the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant, and other pandemic assistance available through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
Industry experts, Blayne Tucker and Curtis Monroe will join us to discuss the application process currently under development for the recently passed Coronavirus Relief and Omnibus Agreement, which includes $15 billion in dedicated funding for live venues, independent movie theaters, and cultural institutions. Our panel of experts will also include Tim Jeffcoat, Director of the SBA in Houston. Attendees will get the chance to participate in a live Q&A during the webinar. The Governor’s Office of Small Business Assistance hosts this webinar in collaboration with the Texas Music Office and in partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission.
Participation in the Webinar is FREE, however there is a maximum capacity of 10,000 attendees.
