About the Event:
The Governor’s Small Business Webinar Series - East Texas will provide small business owners and entrepreneurs with timely, relevant, actionable information on COVID-19 recovery resources. Businesses will also get the chance to connect with local experts and support systems. Topics will include an update on programs in the Coronavirus, Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act as well as workforce-related topics surrounding hiring, benefits, payroll and unemployment. Featured speakers will include an expert from the Texas Workforce Commission as well as local Small Business Development Centers.
This event is hosted in partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission, Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce, Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation, Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, Tyler Economic Development Council, Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce, Visit Tyler and The University of Texas – Tyler.
