This is not the typical internship. The team at Red Productions caters to each individual to make certain there is always work available and that education is a priority. We aim to provide each intern with the opportunity to grow and learn throughout the semester. We never just “throw” an intern into the work environment without providing the skills necessary to achieve their individual goals. Each intern leaves our studio with a better understanding of what it means to work in the professional world; what it means to be a “filmmaker.” Summer interns will also have the opportunity to participate in the production of the highly anticipated film, “Fruitcake” starring Jennifer Garner and Paul Walter Hauser. As an intern with us, you won't just be a bystander; you'll be an integral part of the filming process.
YOU’LL GAIN EXPERIENCE IN THESE DEPARTMENTS:
Producing:
Interested in taking your projects from ideas to reality? Shadow our world class producers as they work with clients to create inspiring and effective content from the ground up. Learn how to pitch ideas, communicate effectively, and work within a budget.
Equipment and On-Set Experience:
Are you ready to go beyond the classroom and experience video production in real-time? Join us on set as we make the magic happen. If you are looking to add to your resume, helping us on set is a great way to get some experience under your belt and learn more about the production process.
Post Production:
Do you have a passion for editing, design, and animation? Our interns help our edit team in prepping projects by labeling clips, syncing audio, pulling selects and making rough edits. We work with Adobe CC – Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, Illustrate and Photoshop. If you want to learn more or hone your skills on real-world projects, you will get plenty of opportunities to watch, learn, and try things out.
Story and Film Development:
Are you a natural writer or editor? Can you spot a great script from one worth passing? Do you have a desire to learn what it takes to develop films and the relationships that make those films happen? Connect with our development department and observe the script-to-screen process in real time. You will learn how to complete script coverage, make marketing plans, and evaluate content on all different levels.

Location:
Our primary studio is located in the heart of the rising South Main Village of Fort Worth while our development division operates remotely in sunny Los Angeles. Interns must be available to work in-person at our Fort Worth location. This is a PAID internship.
