About the Role
South Side Studios is seeking an Assistant Studio Manager based in the Dallas, TX area to support the daily operations at our studio. This role will report to the Studio Manager to ensure the facility is production-ready, support crews and clients, and assist with scheduling, logistics, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate has experience in production or studio operations, is highly organized, and can communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time contract position. Must be located in the Dallas, TX area and able to work on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily studio operations and facility upkeep
- Support studio scheduling
- Help coordinate crew and client logistics
- Communicate with vendors and support staff to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare support spaces for incoming productions
- Serve as an on-site point of contact for productions and clients
- Conduct tours of the facility for potential clients
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in studio operations
- Based in Dallas, TX with reliable transportation and ability to work on-site
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and irregular hours based on production needs
- Familiarity with studio management software, such as Studio Hero, a plus
