At nearly 800 acres, Gateway Park is Fort Worth’s only metropolitan park. Due to its central location in the city, the park sees 600,000 visits a year and draws people from across the region to soccer and baseball fields, a complete disc golf course, and extensive mountain biking trails. In 2019, football scenes for 12 Mighty Orphans starring Robert Duvall and Martin Sheen were filmed in Gateway Park.
