LEARN BOTH SIDES OF THE CAMERA
on a ‘film set'.
Be an Actor. Be the Crew. Be the Director.

Class is a hands-on, film production / film acting class.
Scripts used are Film Scenes from recent movies.
We shoot using a Single-Camera Set-up, Professional Lowel Lighting, Boom mic, etc.,
and create a 'movie-set', where you can
learn the basics of movie production in four sessions.

Instructor, Connie Leaverton has worked with Steven Spielberg, Universal Studios and Disney Studios in Los Angeles and is President of Walkabout Productions, Inc., a multi-award winning film and video-production company, now based in Austin. She has taught this course at various Universities, high schools and adult education classes and has produced and directed videos throughout the world. She has acted and performed internationally for many years and attended acting school at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. She combines her acting and production skills and creates a fast-moving, informative workshop that gives the student a whole new level of understanding of the film industry.

"There are workshops, and there are workshops. And then there are the workshops that energize, enlighten and inspire! I recommend Connie Leaverton's workshops as comprehensive, useful and inspiring. We look forward to inviting her back."
Ev Lunning, St. Edward's University Theater Program
