About the camp: The Guildhall at Southern Methodist University offers a summer camp for middle school and high school aged students that teaches the arts and sciences behind video game development. This is the fifth year for this program at The Guildhall at SMU, which is the premier graduate level video game educational program in the United States. The Academy is taught by renowned SMU graduate instructors as well as Guildhall graduate students. The Guildhall academy is a two week intensive session in which students will make a video game using GuildEd℠ technology. Academy students, after experiencing a two week development cycle, will be able to take their games home and continue to develop and play them on a PC.
