Learn more about the Texas Film Commission's Media Production Development Zone (MPDZ) Program at the upcoming MPDZ Office Hours on Friday, 11/22, from 11-11:45AM.

The TFC's MPDZ program allows for a sales and use tax exemption for the construction, maintenance, expansion, improvement, or renovation of a media production facility over a two year period. Media production facilities include, but are not limited to: animation/CGI studios, post production facilities, sound stages, video game development studios, and production office space. 

The target audience for this event will be media production facility owners and local community representatives. During the office hours, members of the TFC's Production Department will:

•    Discuss how attendees can best utilize the MPDZ program to receive a sales tax exemption on construction and equipping costs of any construction maintenance, expansion, improvement and renovation of a facility.
•    Detail how to utilize the MPDZ program to market a community for media production facility development.
•    Discuss the crucial role local municipalities play in the MPDZ application and approval process.
•    Answer outstanding questions related to the MPDZ program in general.
