About the event: The Southwest Alternate Media Project presents a 2-hour in-depth discussion and workshop focusing on how documentary filmmakers can package and best pitch their projects to the marketplace. How to I get the attention of funders like Amazon, Netflix and HBO? What is a successful grant application? What are production labs looking for? Does my film have international appeal? Academy Award nominated producer Amy Hobby will give a presentation and participants will then have the opportunity to work on their presentations and pitches with the group.
