Speakers
Mike DesRoches, a 13-year veteran of Sony, is a Sales Support Engineer focused on the broadcast and production communities. A graduate of San Jose State University w/ a Bachelor's Degree in Radio, Television and Film, Mike has spent 13 years at Sony. During that time, his roles have ranged from Software QA and Product Support, to Marketing and Product Management. His product responsibilities have included Cameras, Decks, NLEs, Transmission Systems and Tape and Disc-based Broadcast Archival systems, as well as Data Storage. He is currently a Sales Support Engineer for storage products ranging from the XDCAM systems to HDCAM SR.

Greg Boston was exposed to XDCAM HD in April 2006 and instantly felt that it represented a quantum leap in the way we work with digital video. Owning one of the first XDCAM HD cameras, he became very knowledgeable about the XDCAM format. As one of the early adopters, he was given the opportunity to provide feedback to Sony on technical issues with the hardware and software workflow. In 2007, he was approached by VASST to host a training DVD for the PDW-F330/F350 camera series. The resulting DVD runs nearly 2 hours in total and covers all of the user level menu pages with some additional content as well.
