Introduction to Audio Description & VSA Arts of Texas NEW Audio Description Services Workshop
When:
October 28, 2009
About the Event:
A comprehensive look at audio description, what it means to the blind or low-visioned fine arts community, and what it can mean to your fine arts venue and productions. Audio description is the verbal translation of visual information to make theater, television, films, museum exhibits, and events more enjoyable for people with low or no vision. The describer carefully weaves concise descriptions of the key visual elements of a performance or movie into the natural pauses of the dialogue.
This workshop will educate the fine arts and blind & low-visioned community about audio description and its uses.
