  • Brad Wilson Acting - Actor & Director: Creating the Character

Brad Wilson Acting - Actor & Director: Creating the Character

When:

April 24, 2009 to April 29, 2009

About the Event:

April 24th & 25th

In this exciting new workshop with Hollywood Director Ralph E. Portillo, students will learn to work under the guidance of a director to create a character. Scenes will be taped, discussed in class, then taped again. See what a difference working with a Film Director makes. Utilize your talent and his experience to elevate the level of your on camera acting skills. You will explore the relationship between actor and director using scenes from two of Mr. Portillo's upcoming film projects, 4am in Chinatown and Hide and Go Zeke. These taped scenes will be taken back to LA and used by Mr. Portillo and his partners as audition tapes for consideration in these upcoming films!

Founded by Hollywood producer Brad Wilson, Brad Wilson Acting is dedicated to bringing top professionals and teachers from all areas of the Entertainment Industry to cities across the U.S. to give educational workshops with an inspirational and positive message for aspiring actors, producers, directors, screenwriters, radio professionals as well as others in the Film and TV industry.

After 25 years in Hollywood, including 11 years heading Academy Award winning actor Robert Duvall's production company, Butchers Run Films, Brad's expertise is unquestioned. While continuing to produce quality, uplifting films with his partners in Hemisphere Entertainment, Brad is now bringing his highly sought after workshops as well as workshops from other top industry professionals to Texas on a regular basis.
