About the event: Every summer, the Lost River Water Park is a real tourist attraction. But when piranhas escape a nearby abandoned military facility, this dream getaway on the water quickly turns into a nightmare. Written by John Sayles (THE HOWLING), directed by Joe Dante (GREMLINS), and produced by Roger Corman (THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS), Piranha is an American horror parody of the 1975 hit Jaws and was shot at Aquarena Springs in San Marcos, Texas.
